Triglav national park
* The only national park in Slovenia
* The highest point in the park is the peak of Mount Triglav (2864 m), from which the park takes its name
* Park prides itself on pure waters, deep-cut gorges, remains of virgin forests, richness of biodiversity, and an eldorado of mountain flowers including a number of endemic plants
* It extends along the Italian border and close to the Austrian border in the north-west of Slovenia, that is, in the south-eastern section of the Alps
* Vintgar, Pokljuka Ravine, Lake Bohinj, Vrata valley, Vršič, Trenta, Pokljuka, etc.

Bohinj lake
* Largest permanent natural lake in Slovenia
* It is 4.2 kilometers long, one kilometer wide, and forty-five meters deep
* Lake Bohinj is located in the Bohinj municipality in the north-west of the country, and is inside Triglav National Park

Kranjska Gora
* Kranjska Gora is best known as a winter sports town, being situated in the Julian Alps (alpine skiing world cup)
* The well-known ski jumping hill Planica is located in the nearby Tamar valley
* Traditional mountain homelines and athletic dynamism are united here

Slap Savica
* The Savica runs over 38 m long level and falls almost 51 m deep
* Total difference in height is 78 m
* Another smaller waterfall also falls 25 m deep
* Both waterfalls together form the two-part waterfall in the shape of the letter A

Vrata, Kot and Krma valleys
* Just behind the village of Mojstrana, are the three exceptionally beautiful valleys Vrata, Kot and Krma
* Each valley is a starting points for climbing Triglav (highest Slovenian mountain)

Peričnik waterfall
* The water of PeriÄŤnik drops down the wall in two falls
* The lower waterfall is 52 m and the upper one is 16 m high
* You can walk behind the lower waterfall

Vršič
* Vršič is the pass between Trenta and Kranjska Gora
* It is a grassy peak
* Height: 1737 m
* The road from Trenta to Kranjska Gora has 50 curves
